Real Madrid have posted a 2-0 win over Italian side Roma at the Olimpico stadium in their Champions League round of 16 first leg tie.
After a goalless first half, Los Blancos finally broke the deadlock in the 57th minute through Portuguese sensation Cristiano Ronaldo. Marcelo's pass down the left-wing put CR7 one-on-one with Florenzi. He then cut back inside with a trick before unleashing a powerful shot into the top corner of the net, making it 1-0.
Later-on substitute Jese fired a low strike into the corner of the net in the 86th minute to make it 2-0 and give Real a commanding lead in the tie.
