An adorable giant panda cub has made its first public appearance at the National Zoo in Washington, delighting many visitors.
Bei Bei who was born in August last year was greeted by cheering visitors who waited in lines outside the panda house to catch a glimpse.
On his first day out, the little one spent much of his time napping and hiding in his den. Until now, the adorable creature could be viewed only through the so-called Panda Cam.
That is a video hookup that has allowed people to watch the cub since its birth. Visitors have got the chance to see him in person now.
