British adventurer John Beeden has spent 209 days at sea rowing solo across the Pacific Ocean.

He set off from San Francisco back in June and rowed for up to 15-hours a day in his six-meter long boat.

He hoped to reach Australia in mid-October, but his arrival was delayed by more than a month due to bad weather.

The 53-year-old rowed across the Atlantic Ocean in 2011, but he said the Pacific Ocean was tougher than expected.
