What we do?

We primarily make documentaries on current affairs issues and provide other media services including television production training, media advice, Satellite News Gathering and studio rental. We also provide an extensive selection of footage from our archives in the UK and in Iran that can be licensed for personal and commercial use.

Can you pitch your idea for making a documentary?

Which subjects can you pitch?

We are interested in documentaries on current affairs, with focus on the UK, the Middle East and Third World countries..

How long will the review and approval of your documentary take?

It will usually take between two and three weeks.

How much will we pay for your documentary?

This will depend on a variety of factors, including the subject, location and the number of episodes. All terms are strictly subject to a written contract.

You have never made a documentary. Can you still pitch your idea?

Yes, you can. However, if your proposal is approved, we shall provide you with assistance..

Do you need to send us samples of previous documentaries that you have made?

If you would like to make the film the documentary yourself, you will have to provide a showreel upon our approval of your proposal.

If we feel that your previous films or programmes do not meet our standards, what can you do?

You can contact us and we will aim to assist you.

Can you rent our studio without also renting our equipment?

Yes.

Can we provide you with professionals to operate the studio?

We will usually provide you with technical assistance in operating our studios and such services will usually be included in the price.

In what formats do we supply our footage?

We aim to supply footage in the formats that you request in this form. (link to footage order)

How many people do we accept for each of our training classes?

The maximum number of people that we accept in each class is four. If you would like one-to-one sessions, we will aim to provide this for you.

Who applies to our training courses?

Our trainees come from a cross section of different backgrounds including students and those who wish to gain experience in the professional media industry. .
