Iran and Iraq sign a major deal to smooth cooperation between their oil and gas sectors.

Iran plans to increase its oil and gas production capacity by 50%, the head of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) says.

Venezuelan Oil Minister Tareck El Aissami has hailed Iran's experiences in the field of energy and technology, saying his country is willing to benefit from them and forge closer cooperation with Tehran.

Iran plans to carry out 20 oil and gas projects worth about $80 billion in a 10-year period, deputy head of investment at the National Development Fund of Iran (NDFI) has said.

Iran and Venezuela, both petroleum-rich OPEC members, have found solidarity in coordinated geopolitical, economic, and military maneuvers against shared common enemy the United States.

Despite pressure from the United States and other Western states, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has said India will continue buying Russian oil as it is advantageous for the country. 

Russia’s Gazprom will sign deals with Iran until March to develop eight oil and gas fields in the country.
