Iran Israel strike
This edition of Spotlight was dedicated to Iran's missile and drone strikes against the Zionist regime over its recent bombing of the Iranian consulate section in Damascus, Syria. The guests were Scott Ritter, former US Marine Intelligence Officer from Bethlehem, New York, and Shivan Mahendrarajah Historian and Author, from London.
Mahendrarajah said the Iranian response serves as an eye-opener as far as the Israelis are concerned, given that they have been told that Israel is invincible. He also said the sense of security in Israel is gone.
Ritter said Iran made its point that it is capable of hitting Israel at the time and place of its choosing and this objective was achieved. He added that if Iran launched a coordinated strike along with Hezbollah and other allies, Israel's missile shield would definitely be overwhelmed.
