Get to Work

It’s 2023, but child labor is still rampant in the United States. at least 10 states have introduced or passed laws rolling back child labor protections in the past two years.

Alongside slavery the country has a history of using children as cheap labor. Illegal immigrant children are forced to work in order to survive.

A Washington State law, passed recently in April allows 18 year olds to work in establishments for 21 year olds and older people, such as bars. Many states in the US, have no infrastructure in place to track minor children who are working nor their work conditions.
