Inhuman UK-Rwanda refugee pact

The British government has been accused of trading people like commodities after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced last month that the migrants and asylum-seekers illegally entering Britain would be sent thousands of miles away to Rwanda as part of a deal with the African country.

This week we are focusing on Britain’s controversial plans to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda. Human rights activists are saying that his deal is cruel, immoral, neo-colonial, likely unlawful and a threat to the lives of refugees. So, what are the real reasons behind this deal and is London imitating a similar arrangement that the Israeli regime had with Rwanda. Is this agreement part of a plan by Boris Johnson to divert attention from the embarrassment of his Partygate scandal?
