Never ending student debts

The US government has extended the federal student loan payment pause for the sixth time. 46 million Americans are still in debt over there student loans.

Progressive politicians warn that inaction on student loans could hurt democrats on the next midterm elections. Opposers of loan debt cancelation believe that cancelations will increase the current alarming inflation rates. This is the second consecutive year that the federal budget deficit will exceed 10% of the GDP.

A none unified democratic party and opposition of republicans over the debt forgiveness, has left the US student loan debt crisis in limbo. Will the recent pause in payment bring the needed relief to the millions of borrowers? With university tuitions so high, will there ever be a solution to student loans? Has the government fulfilled its campaign promises to solve this crisis?
