Unfair EU trade deals with Africa
A recent European Union and African Union summit fell short on meeting some of Africa's key demands. The summit ended with the EU promising an investment package of 150 billion Euros for Africa.
However this package was met with skepticism by South African president. Lets take a listen. This week we are focusing on trade agreements between Africa and the European Union that clearly favor European countries.
Many in Africa say the continent needs to be treated as an equal partner by the EU and not a colonial era protectorate. In the second segment of our program we shall continue with the discussion on how Africa is still suffering from imperialism and neo-colonialism.
