Power cuts can be extremely costly to a refinery. It can damage machines and equipment, not to mention that a shutdown also means less daily production and slashing profits.
Previously this technology was imported but now it's domestically manufactured. But this is just one example of technology that has been indigenized to further develop the gas and oil sectors.
