A number of supporters of Donald Trump have told the American media that there would be a “civil war” if the former Republican president is not reinstated “soon.”

CNN reported on Tuesday that Trump’s many supporters fully expect the real estate tycoon to be reinstated before the end of the summer and warned of potential political violence in the US if he is not.

"He didn't lose, I know he didn't lose," one woman told the American broadcaster, indicating she believes claims by many Republicans that widespread voter fraud led to President Joe Biden's controversial victory in the 2020 election.

A number of the supporters who gathered for the Saturday rally in Wellington, Ohio wore memorabilia and carried signs with slogans like "Trump won" and "Biden Sucks" displayed across them.

"It's about all of them, and 2020 and the next one," another woman told CNN about her "Trump won" T-Shirt.

The CNN reporter pressed the woman on the presidential election's result, saying "but he lost though in 2020, right?"

"No!" she responded.

Another group of Trump supporters said they hoped to hear from the former president is that "he's coming back."

Trump and his allies raised concerns after Biden’s victory in November that widespread fraud marred the race, and that the election was rigged by the Washington establishment in favor of Biden, who was certified as the winner in Congress on January 6.

In November, Trump said Biden “won” the presidential election because the vote was "rigged."

Trump has reportedly been pressuring allies in conservative media to reiterate that the election was stolen and suggest he will be reinstated as soon as August.

"He's coming back soon, and you guys are going down," said a Trump supporter in Wellington. "The military already knows it was a fraud. He won by over 80 percent."

"He's coming back before the middle of August,” the supporter added.

"And what if that doesn't happen?" the reporter asked.

"We're gonna be in a civil war because the militia will be taking over," the man responded.

Trump claimed that the election was rigged by the Washington establishment in favor of the current president.

According to recent surveys, most Republicans still believe that the election was stolen from Trump, and he is the legitimate president of the United States.

Trump’s claims of voter fraud played a role in inciting the violent protest on January 6, during which thousands of angry protesters stormed the Capitol in a failed attempt to halt Congress’s certification of the election results. The assault left five people dead, including a member of law enforcement.
