Palestinians have taken to the streets of Gaza City to make their voices heard against the normalization deal between the United Arab Emirates and the Israeli regime.

Last week, the UAE and Israel reached the deal, brokered by the US, which will lead to a full normalization of relations.

Palestinians believe the agreement could be a prelude to a similar deal by other Arab countries in the Persian Gulf.

Angry protesters also denounced the United States’ unwavering support for Israel.

The Islamic Jihad resistance movement has censured the UAE, which has long portrayed itself as an advocate of the Palestinian cause.

Some say the normalization of ties between Arab countries and Tel Aviv would only embolden the Israeli regime to push ahead with its occupation agenda and the aggression against Palestinians.
